Meet Our Newest Recruit...Neal Abdool!
OpenBlend has recently welcomed a new recruit in their commercial team. Meet Neal Abdool, who has taken on a Sales Development role, creating and building commercial activity for the company.
Time to find out a little more about him.
What does your role entail?
My role is in Sales Development. This consists of building outbound lead generation and establishing more awareness of OpenBlend. I want people to know how we’re driving a people centred approach to performance management.
What experience do you bring to the table?
Whilst attending university, I was fortunate enough to land myself a placement year in a large corporate HRIS provider. Here, I was able to work as a Sales Development Representative, qualifying and passing on leads from small-medium sized global enterprises. I was recognised as a high performing individual, as I achieved a high amount of successful outbound leads throughout my year there.
Graduating with a first in entrepreneurship and management from Reading University, I hope to be successful in my post university career, starting at OpenBlend.
What do you want to achieve at OpenBlend?
I want to continue to build the brand name across mid-market companies and spread awareness.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
In my spare time, you can find me trying out different restaurants, spending time with family and friends or on the golfing range.
Where do you want to be in ten years’ time?
I want to be growing and scaling companies, from start up to scale up. The skills that I have acquired from my previous roles, I want to progress and continue to succeed with.
If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?
I would have the ability to fly, so I’m never stuck in traffic.
